Brand Builders. Cherry+Company was founded in 1981 as a full-service integrated marketing and communications firm specializing in brand marketing. Over the years we have worked with a wide range of publicly-traded and privately-held organizations and enterprises, helping them effectively communicate their message to targeted audiences.
Educational Know How. In 2003, Cherry+Company launched its educational division, combining years of brand expertise with educational “know-how.” Specializing in private, independent schools, our team forms strategic partnerships with educational institutions to provide innovative and comprehensive brand strategy, admissions, development, and student recruitment solutions. Today, the company’s educational client list includes more than 350 schools and universities across the globe.
Liz Cherry President and Brand Strategist
Liz Cherry brings three decades of institutional brand marketing experience to Cherry+Company. Cherry’s brand expertise, creative spirit and in-depth understanding of independent schools delivers measurable, award-winning results for her clients.
Cherry founded the firm in 1981, concentrating on brand development and integrated marketing solutions for non-profits and corporations. Her clients included national brands such as Winn Dixie, First Union, and Martin Guitar. In the late 90’s, her firm was selected to rebrand the University of Tampa, and the experience ignited her passion for educational marketing. In 2003, Cherry+Company established an educational division focused on independent private schools.
Cherry has been a featured speaker at conferences and panel discussions sharing her brand expertise and educational marketing experiences.
In addition to her professional career, Cherry has donated her time and talent to national and local charitable community and state organizations, including the Governor’s Mentoring Initiative, Heartbeat International, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Junior Achievement, Hands On! and the regional council for the Dali Museum.
